The Team plan lets you collaborate with colleagues by pooling credits and sharing access to content review across your projects. Any team member can invite others directly from the Team page in the dashboard — the person you invite does not need an existing Shipstar account, and any email address works, including personal domains.

How to invite a teammate

  1. Open the Team page from the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Click Invite member and enter the person's email address.
  3. The invitation is sent immediately and expires after 7 days. If the recipient misses it, you can resend it from the same page.
  4. Pending invitations count toward your seat total until they are accepted or revoked, so revoke any you no longer need to keep your seat count accurate.

Seats and billing

  • The Team plan has a 2-seat minimum. You can add or remove seats at any time from the Team page, and billing is prorated automatically — you are charged only for the portion of the billing period the seat is active.
  • You cannot reduce seats below the number of current members plus pending invitations.
  • All members draw from one pooled credit allowance (50,000 credits × number of seats). Any member can use any share of the pool.

Owner vs. member permissions

Every member can generate content, review and approve drafts, and invite new teammates. The team owner has additional control:

  • Revoke invitations and remove members
  • Add or remove seats
  • Manage billing and subscription details

If your Team subscription ends, members keep their team membership but fall back to their own plan's credit allowance and invitations are paused. Re-subscribing restores everything — no one is removed from the team.

Content review

When a piece of content is ready for review, every team member receives an email notification. Each person can opt out of these notifications individually in their notification preferences. Any member can approve or edit a draft before it publishes.
